Costco has older Wii Games on Sale

There are several games on sale for $9.99 on sale at Costco Wholesale with their coupon which is valid from June 15, 2009 through July 5, 2009. The games which are usually warehouse priced for $14.99 at Costco include Brunswick Bowling, M&M's Kart Racing, Purr Pals, Totally Spies, Game Party and Sonic Riders Zero Gravity. There are no limits but the coupon is required. The coupon applies only to games with the item number 283249. This is a very good price for those older games, especially Game Party and Sonic Riders Zero Gravity. Most of the time the prices at Costco is the same has any other store retailer.

How To Launch a Wii Channel or game from the SD Card Menu

Now that Nintendo has given us the extra storage (max 32 GB) for more games and Wii Channels knowing how to start a game or Wii Channel from your SD Card is important. First of all you must have Wii Menu 4.0. Remember the SD Card Menu can hold up to 240 items.
Instructions on launching a game or Wii Channel from your SD memory card:
  1. Insert an SD Card into the SD Card slot on the front of the Wii console. Push it firmly into the slot until it clicks into place. Note: The SD card label faces toward Wii Game Disc slot.
  2. Select the SD Card Menu icon from the Wii Menu to see the contents of the SD Card. The SD Card Menu icon is located in the bottom-left corner next to the "Wii" icon on the main Wii Menu. If an SD Card is not inserted, you will receive the error message, "Nothing is Inserted in the SD Card Slot." Just make sure you pushed into the SD Card slot currently.

Mario Power Tennis

Wondering what was taking Nintendo so long to come out with the next Mario Series Tennis game... well the game named Mario Power Tennis will be here March 9, 2009. So get really to play some tennis. Especially since Mario Power Tennis will feature Wii controls. It is a GameCube game but now allows Wii owners to play it on the WIi using the Wiimote controlers. Wii controls will allow the player to swing the Wiimote to hit forehands and backhands and to apply spin to each shot. In addition, players can use the Nunchuk for additional precision. Select your favorite Mario character, each character has their own set of moves. The game also provides several courts to play on with their own unique challenges. Mario Power Tennis is multi-player and is rated E for everyone.

The Wii is getting a Video Channel

More channels are popping up on the Wii. In spring 2009, the Wii will be adding the Video Channel to the list of channels it currently has. The Video Channel will be providing a video service, offering cartoons and "mainly family-oriented programming" in keeping with their main focus of family fun. Japan will be the first to view this new channel, which will be available at no charge initially. Nintendo take the channel worldwide at a later date.
